Holy Crap it's here!

It finally arrived this morning, in it's pretty, shiny collectors tin, and is currently calling out for me to watch it!
After avoiding spoilers (with tremendous amounts of willpower) since the US release, in forms of icons, fanvids, forum posts etc.... I still have to wait to watch it.  I've told my fellow SG obsessive friends that they are under NO circumstances to watch AoT until we can do so together!

Sunday night, I AM going to hold out until Sunday night.

This month's 12 of 12 actually comes to you from Darwin, Northern Territory.  I spent last week in Queensland with 7 of my mates, enjoying the sun, and am spending this week up north visiting my sister, her fiance, and their brand new puppy!!

One of my resolutions is to actually POST all the 12 of 12 photos this year. About three months that I missed last year, I have sitting on my camera still.

So January 12 of 12, I actually worked, 10-6, and didn't have my camera for that stint of the day! Luckily, it was Meg's 21st party that night, so plenty of photo opportunities. 269 photo opportunities to be exact! :) Here they are.

I'm on my last assignment for the year... and I just can't for the life of me, get in to it.  So excuse the pointless rambling entry that has no further function than enabling my procrastination!

I'm really sad that I didn't have time for the Bonus picture this month. Orange is my FAVOURITE colour. Like... seriously, I'm obsessed with orange. I was going to get out all my little dinky orange stuff, but... time got away from me :(.
I was up 'til 4:30 the morning before finishing off a presentation assignment thingy we did that morning... and as you can see, I got up reaaally early (for me), and then worked til midnight.. Possibly the least time I've slept ue

	7:56 am - Saying Bye to Parentals I've already been awake for about a half hour if you can believe it! Mum and Dad left  this morning for the US of A . They've gone to visit my uncle for two weeks, so it's just me and the animals. Fun times!
	10:19 am - At Uni I planned to get in to Uni earlier this morning so me and my partner could collaborate our presentation and make it cool... but the goddamned classroom was locked!! Anywho, we put our stuff together, and did a half decent job... I'm so over it right now. Bring on holidays and sleep!
	1:37 pm - My friend, caffeine. This are my three friends that have been keeping me awake and going the past few days, and will continue to do so for the rest of the weekend.  Instant homebrew coffee, red bull, and gloria jeans extra strong espressos from work.  Oh thank god for having a coffee shop at my work.
	2:15 pm - Cleaning up from last night After I had my chill out time for the day (about 15 minutes worth), I set about cleaning up all the junk I'd left out from the night before, from my model making extravaganza (giving it a cool name makes me feel that it wasn't completely mind numbing).
	2:52 pm - Lexie the popcorn fiend Lexie knows the sound the popcorn maker makes... and she comes running.  I've been popping popcorn all week for my mates birthday present we gave her on Saturday night.
	2:58 pm - Making more mess As soon as the table is cleared... more crap gets dumped on it. I have to power through making my mates birthday scrapbook. We're utterly behind on it, and we ended up having a code red situation with us all sticking like crazy until about 20 minutes before she arrived on Saturday night.
	3:53 pm - Present Wrapping You start to worry in my group of mates, when you get told that we had to cling wrap all your presents to protect them from the rest of the 'wrapping'. *evil laugh*
	4:04 - Putting together the present Yes, yes those are four giant garbage bags full of popcorn. Why do you ask?
	4:13 pm - The almost finished product We estimated how much popcorn we would need perfectly. What you see there is a giant stock box, filled with 10 bags of popcorn kernels, and buried within, almost a dozen individually wrapped presents that need to be found.
	6:08 pm - Time to drag myself to work I'm working 7-midnight tonight...... can't you see how thrilled I look.  The bags under my eyes might merit themselves a new zip code soon if this carries on.
	9:43 pm - Dinner! Dinner time! On my break I had a yummy spinach & ricotta roll from Gloria Jeans, and washed it down with another red bull to get me through the rest of the shift. We have to name and date stuff we put in the work fridge otherwise it gets thrown out. Brutal.
	12:03 am - (yeah yeah, 3 minutes after midnight. It still counts!) My locker was oh so crammed tonight, because I tried to do some scrap booking on my break.... But as you can see, I drank red bull instead.

Yes it's true. Your eyes are not deceiving you. I AM finally posting an icon update! I have... some amount (which i'll count up later) of new icons for you. As usual, it's a pretty image heavy post, so i'll just post a couple of 'em as examples for you!

	1:16 am - Sanctuary The third and newest webisode of Sanctuary has FINALLY downloaded for me! Yay! This is me setting up on my purdy new iMac to watch it. For those who don't know about Sanctuary, it's a new TV show thingy that is based entirely on the web. You pay a couple of bucks an episodes (the first 4 are available free on youTube), download the ep, and it's yours to do with what you please! A whole lotta the stargate peeps are involved in the show. Peter DeLuise even made a cameo this ep. Loved it! Check it out at sanctuaryforall.com
	1:43 am - To bed! I'm off to bedfordshire. At the moment I'm reading 'The Princess Bride' which I am loving. I've seen the movie a billion times, and never bothered to read the book. Which is opposite of what I usually like to do. Books always come first! :)
	3:48 - Wet Puppy I had an insanely long sleep in today, which I loved. I had an exam monday morning, and didn't get much sleep the night before. And when I headed down the back, I realised that my poor Lexie was outside in the rain!! I let her in and dried her off as much as her hyper self would let me. Rain/Baths make her go absolutely nuts and run laps around the back room.
	4:16 - Mmmmm Lunch/Dinner/whatever this meal works out to I LOVE raisin toast. I cannot stress this point enough!! I've got the toaster set up perfect and have the butter ratio down. Perfection!!
	4:49 - Puppy is pooped She wore herself out with hyperness. She proceeded to crash and sleep the rest of the afternoon away.
	5:53 - Mum is home! And is on her way out again to get yummies for dinner.
	6:13 - Snacks Mum brought Dad and I back these funky little hot pepperoni stick thingies. They were awesome! Go Strikers, go!
	6:39 - Dinner is brewing It's smelling absolutely awesome at this point. Mmmm good.
	6:58 - Dinner is server Pasta, garlic bread and *puts on accent* ze black pepperrr. This garlic bread was the best I've had in a LONG time, even if it was the cheating prepacked put it in the over type. It was fabulous!
	7:41 - Koosh For some reason, Meowa (Koosh) online likes to snuggle in to my shoulder. She'll let mum hold her, and will purr away happily, but as soon as I move over to them, she'll climb over on to my shoulder, purr even louder, and if she's in a real good mood... she starts to drool.
	10:20 - Switzer!! Yes, CJ is still running on Aussie TV. We've just the episode where Buggles gets kidnapped, 'Post Hoc'. This is one of my favourite and most hated episodes of the season. I LOVE the storylines, but I hate the way Bug makes me almost cry every time I watch it. But still, I must support my show! Even if the network has already screwed it over. I settled in with mum under the doona and watched it with her. (p.s. you can see my cool new Hitchcock box set in the right of the piccie)
	11:02 - Popcorn Mum and I decided that we needed some munchies to enhance our viewing pleasure. So we cracked out the popcorn machine during the ad breaks :)

I'm trapped!!

Trapped in my sisters apartment!!! I have a phone, internet access, food, water, tv, ps2, everything I could want, except a freakin' door key so I can get out of here and go to work!!!
D'oh!

I should backtrack a little here... Usually my sister and I play netball every Thursday night, which is usually the only day of the week we see each other and we have dinner afterwards and what not. This week however, we had a bye (no game), sooo we had the bright idea that we'd go to the movies out in her neck of the woods, get some dinner and I'd stay in their spare room for the night.
So, the movie was ok, we saw Shrek the Third, had some funny parts, and the storyline wasn't tooo bad... but JT annoyed the bejeezus outta me and it definitely wasn't as good as the first two. We had some yummy take away noodles, came home, had hot chocolate, I wired up their stereo and tv and ps2 and stuff, Becc and Ben (sister and b/f) aren't the more nerdy people I know. Then sleepy time came, the bed was comfy as, had an awesome sleep.... but get up to go this morning, and Becc, caring for my safety, decided to lock the fly wire door also.... which does NOT open again without a key.... and there is no spare key around.... dammit!!!

OH! Ben is home! freedom!!!!!!!

It still hasn't sunk in that I've seen the last episode of CJ ever!  I still feel like I'm anticipating the next episode. Denial is working pretty damn well for me right now.  Yes, in the back of my mind, I DO realise that 'Crash' was it.  I'm doubtful of any miracles... regardless of how crazy and dedicated the CJ fangirls are.  The sad truth, is that networks really DON'T care about the amount of emails or letters we send. That's how I feel about it anyway. :(

So, enough of me coming to a realisation that CJ is actually over, and more of talking about the actual season finale! (yes... soon I'll be able to call it series finale, but not yet, I'm still too pissed off!)


I really still don't feel like it's over... and although I can watch CJ episodes over and over again (which I will be doing!) and not get tired of them... I'm really going to miss the excitement of the new episodes every week.... Stupid NBC... shot themselves in the foot, seriously.

Yupe, I missed last month. :( Well, I DO actually have the photos on my camera, but by the time I got around to actually d/loading em... it was closer to this 12 of 12, hehehehehe.

My 12 of 12 this month started out extreeeeeeeemely sadly :(. Just before I went to bed I read the news that CJ was cancelled, after mucho swearing and being glum, I headed to bed, forgetting to take pics of early in the AM for my 12 of 12s... The next morning, I woke up about ten minutes before I had to leave for work (worked from 11-4), so no chance for photos, or remembering to take my camera to work either... SO, all my 12of12 pics this month were taken after I'd gotten home from work!

	6:36 pm - Stocked up on Goodies Mum and Dad did a shop up at this awesome meditteranean market place while I was at work. Mmmm olives and other goodies
	6:39 - Feeding Miss Lexie Feeding my puppy her dinner, she sits down all nice like while we fill her bowl. Then it's crazy jumping all over the place
	6:43 - Elite Beat Agents!!! Possibly THE coolest DS game around at this point in time. I highly recommend it to all!
	6:52 - Double checking the dreary news *sniff* Yupe... Chads blog is still there. *sniff*
	8:15 - Making Grans Necklace Gran wanted a big chunky beaded green necklace like the one I made, quite a few 12 of 12s ago. This is phase one. Getting all organised!
	8:19 - Phase Two Getting caffeinated... Mine is the big one in the middle, hehe
	8:21 - Mmmmmmmmmmmmm Another goodies from the market, sooooooooooo yummmmmy
	10:31 - Phase Three A whole freakin' metre of tiny little seed beads... not so much fun
	11:29 - Dad Watching TV I thought at this stage, I'd check in with the parentals.  Use up a couple of photos and just generally share my love around :)

	11:48 - Doing some studying I had to do a prac test online the next day... I got 195/200 for it.. Boooyah!
	12:00 - Knitting! My very first knitting project ever. A big scarfy in chunky wool to hide my mistakes! Here is me, weaving all the ends in :)

A VERY belated 12 of 12 from me this month! Whoopsies. The piccies are actually from the 12th, I've just not had time or energy to get around to putting them up!
This months 12 of 12 just happened to fall on Australia's 'Labour Day' Holiday! But alas, there was no holidaying, and much labouring throughout my day. Work, then Uni... then sleep, it was nice :)

7:52 am - Rise and Shine Mmmmm, dad made me a coffee for when I got up.... which seems to be glowing. Yes, the first coffee of the morning definitely is heavenly!

8:18 am - Gaming I'm off to work.... and my dad is playing video games. Something is very wrong with this picture!

8:43 am - I'm early Today I'm working 9-2. This is one of the entrances of the shopping centre I work in. It's got some gorgeous architecture and just has a general niceness compared to where I used to work. :)

11:25 am - Steph's Break! Yay for work breaks!! I zipped out to Mrs. Fields bakery and got some yummy yummy milk chocolate nibblers to keep me going! I missed breakfast this morning due to getting up about 20 minutes or so before I was actually supposed to leave. Notice the water... feeling guilty about so much caffeine and not enough H2O.

2:32 pm - Screw it! Mmmmm more caffiene... I REALLY wanted one of those big fuck off sized starbucks coffees right about now (Venti?) but there isn't a starbucks near work! And besides, Gloria Jeans coffee is WAY better. :)

4:31 pm - Headin' Home Easy Car Parking is love! ... no... I'm serious... I circled the freakin' car parks for an hour yesterday morning to get a damn park. My tutorial was supposed to last from 3-5... but we got so fed up with the freakin' impossible, back to front instructions, that we decided to call it quits before fists flew through computer screens. Half the instructions weren't even compatible with the operation system we were using!!! Gah!!! Irritated just thinkin' about it!!

5:10 pm - .... not fair I arrive home to find dad in the EXACT same position that he was in when I left the house this morning... Only difference is that now mum has joined in the gaming too! Today is back to front.

5:19 pm - Finally, food! Finally I have some food of substance! ... *shifty eyes* okay, okay! So I ate a bowl of sugar. It was AWESOME alright?!

5:46 pm - Cooking! Mmm mmm mmm! Mum is cooking yummies!

7:07 pm - Dinner Beverages Dad = Strongbow Mum = Kahlua and Coke Me = Pink Birthday Champagne (mini bottle I got from my mate last b'day :))

7:08 pm - Dessert! The product of mums cooking. Yoyos! Complete with icing AND jam. *drools*

10:28 pm - Finally crashing! No more energy left for Steph. I headed off to bed to watch some old season one eps of NCIS and fall asleep. As always, Miss Meowa (aka, Koosh) was quick to join me. Her collar kind of reminds me of the Fifth Element in this picture! hehehe

Bonus Picture - 'Green' Okay, so it's not too inspired. Even so, I like how this photo turned out! I think he framing of it is pretty cool. Traffic lights are also very fitting, as I spent almost two hours driving today.

Episode 18 of season 10.... absolutely hilarious.

1:53 pm - Awakening Yes yes, I slept in... I slept VERY in... does that make sense? hehehe. I had a big, LONG day yesterday, so caught up on some Zs this morning. This is how I woke up, Koosh sleeping on the corner of the bed. About 2 minutes before this picture, I stretched waking up, swung my leg to the left and swiped her clean off the edge... She apparantly forgives very easily :D. (p.s. note the egg on the side of my ankle, yay for injuries!)

1:54 pm - Mornin' Lexie Saying good morning/afternoon to the puppy as I head down for some brunch and coffee.. She mustered up a few tail wags but didn't get up. Poor thing, she was hot today :(

2:17 pm - war zone Yes, I did manage to sleep in there.... somewhere... Needless to say, one of todays mission is to clean the room... again.... do I do this on the 12th of EVERY month?

2:32 pm - Beautiful Weather We had a gorgeous day of sun and heat today! The wind was still bad, but nothing compared to the freakish winds of yesterday that was ripping trees up!

3:06 pm - Mail Call I had more mail than anyone else in the house today!!! This is a BIG deal for me :D heehee... Strangest piece of mail was a cat food sampler pack addressed specifically to my sister, who doesn't live here anymore, and doesn't own a cat either... hmmm

4:11 pm - Phase One Cleaning Complete Not looking half bad! All my washing is done and put away, and a general orderly state has been restored to my quarters. Pretty dang sweet :) Phase two (complete junk cleanout) should be complete tomorrow

4:22 pm - Washer Woman Me lost among the washing. Lexie helped by eating pegs.. She's a peg vacuum.

5:53 pm - Cars! Dad proudly displaying his new car... in the brochure. Hehe, he did all the paperwork for trading in his car today. He's getting a brand spankin' new Audi TT, at the start of April. I'm very jealous of the inbuilt iPod dock.... now he just needs to buy an iPod!

7:43 pm - Netball! I finally managed to remember to take netball photos before I made it back to the car! Maybe next time I'll even remember to take some inside the actual complex! :) The gals in blue are a few of my teammates :) Jamie on the right... is being obscene, great work there! *thumbs up*

7:47 pm - Traffic Lights Who is this? Why it's my netball buddies pulled up next to me at the traffic lights. PRIME photo opportunities here I felt! *thumbs up back to Anneke*

7:52 pm - Tape, tape.... and some more tape Thanks to last monday nights catastrophe with resurfaced netball courts being incredibly sticky... I now have to tape BOTH ankles for sport. Check it out! My ankle tape expenses have just doubled- I really should invest in those ankle support thingies.

9:18 pm - My Dad, the Jungle Gym Lexie thinks she is a lapcat.... end of story

Bonus Pictures - 'Love' I cheated again this month, two bonus piccies of my mum, and my dad. :) It goes without saying that I love them heaps. My family means everything to me. Mum and Dad both work insanely hard (mum is working in these piccies) and tackle everything that life throws at them. What I love the most, is that I know that they will always support me, respect my decisions, and do whatever they can to make me happy. :) I love you guys!
